It only took two years.

January 6, 2013

I have been wanting to start a blog for over two years. My initial hesitation was that I didn’t have anything worthwhile to share. The wise Ben Callahan convinced me otherwise. As soon as he did though, life filled up as it always seems to do. I was balancing a full-time job and tons of freelance work on the side. I didn’t have much free time for anything, let alone a blog.

This past summer though I quit my job and started my own design business full-time. After starting my own business, my first goal—besides keeping business coming through the door—was to relaunch my website. I needed a site that promoted me as a business instead of as an individual freelancing on the side. A few weeks ago I finally got my site relaunched and was able to turn my attention to the blog.

My hope is that this will be a place for me to share a wide variety of things, from short tidbits to in-depth articles, from thoughts on design to stories about my life. I hope this blog becomes a place for people to come to learn, explore, and converse.

Stay tuned.
